Fr Murphy, in his homily, reflecting on 2 Timothy 1:6-11 .....In serving, celebrating and living the public worship of the Church; there is to be no hesitancy and holding back, here, with encountering and ministering to Christ.  As it is through the sign and symbols perceptible to the senses that the Holy Spirit manifests the risen Lord, utmost care must be taken, then, with the clarity of words, the skills of ministry, the oneness of gathering, the acclamations and chants that are sung.......utmost care must be taken with the measure of Christian witness in daily life.

The Schola Cantorum, under the direction of Gerard Lillis, consisted of 22 boys and girls studying music in St Finian's College, Mullingar.  They had recently taken part in the 2017 Feis Ceoil
